Pi Night
The first party in honor of the amazing mathematical entity known as “pi” began 25 years ago when a physicist at the San Francisco science museum, looked at the calendar and said, “March 14—it’s the number pi. Let’s celebrate!” At STS we love any excuse for a party, and thanks to our Math Committee a new school tradition has been born…. complete with math games, community, and of course, pie!
