About Saint Timothy


Saint Timothy Catholic School is a co-educational school dedicated to educating students from preschool through eighth grade. Located in Chantilly, VA, Saint Timothy Catholic School has served the surrounding community and the Diocese of Arlington for over 35 years, maintaining a tradition of academic excellence.

A dynamic and supportive learning environment enables students to meet the high standards set at Saint Timothy Catholic School. The school teaches the whole child in order to bring out joy of learning in each pupil. Teachers give attention to each individual student, while innovative teaching strategies push students to reach their full potential.

Saint Timothy students score above diocesan and national Terra Nova standardized testing averages. The Department of Education named St. Timothy a Blue Ribbon School in 2000-2001. The school is accredited by the Virginia Catholic Education Association (VCEA), whose accreditation process has been approved by the Virginia Council for Private Education Committee on Accreditation as authorized by the Virginia State Board of Education.

The education at Saint Timothy Catholic School is strengthened by its roots in Christ. Through daily religious instruction, weekly worship at Mass, and a curriculum rich in the Catholic tradition, Saint Timothy students actively live their faith.
