Frequently Asked Questions

Students study the Scriptures and the Tradition of the Catholic faith, participate in Catholic liturgies and, if Catholic, are prepared to receive the Sacraments. Non‐Catholic students are expected to participate in liturgies, religious functions, and religion classes that are part of the academic curriculum. While non‐Catholic students are expected to be knowledgeable about Catholic teachings and practices, they are not expected to give their assent to the Faith.

What are the school hours? What is the procedure for having my student dismissed from school early?
The school day begins at 8:00 a.m. and ends at 3:15. Children can be dropped off as early as 7:35, and carpool ends at 3:35. Early release of a student should be requested in writing. Written requests will be accepted by noon on the day of request. Parents must come to the office to sign out their student who will then be called to the office. No child will be called to the office during normal dismissal. If you need to have your child dismissed early, you must come to the office no later than 20 minutes before dismissal. That means 2:55 p.m. Monday through Friday. Do not park directly in front of the school when you come to pick up your child, as you will get parked in due to the carpool line.
What do I need to do to change the way my child goes home? (Change in Dismissal) A Change in dismissal form needs to be sent into school by noon to change the way your child is going home.

Parent signature is required for release of a student’s confidential file (i.e. special education records, psychological reports, disciplinary records, anecdotal information or reports by the school counselor).
Only copies of student records may be released.
