Art

At St. Timothy, the arts are a constant presence on the educational landscape. Students in kindergarten through fifth grade take weekly art classes, learning to work in all forms of media, from drawing to print-making to sculpture and more. Middle School students have the option of electing to take various art classes as electives.  The principles, techniques, and history of art are emphasized as students apply their creativity to different projects. The art curriculum works hand-in-hand with students’ education in core subjects, as themes from history to literature to religion are woven into visual art projects, allowing for hands-on, visual learning experiences.

Mrs. Frey’s art elective created the beautiful underwater wonderland for our school’s Drama production of The Little Mermaid.
