School Traditions

timmyTraditions abound at STS!  It is the pageantry of our long-held traditions that provide an exciting, interactive learning environment.   As students advance through the grades at St. Timothy Catholic School, they look forward with great anticipation to participating in the Saints Parade (2nd grade), the Patriotic Assembly (3rd grade),Colonial Day (4th grade), Cinco de Mayo (5th grade), and Medieval Day  (6th grade).  These are days of costumes, presentations, food, songs and crafts!

Field trips are eagerly anticipated traditions!  Fourth grade students prepare for Colonial Days by enjoying time together learning at Mount Vernon.

Our Middle School students, through the advisory program, electives, March for Life, and the prayer partners program, have a unique opportunity to lead and to grow in faith and wisdom.  Eighth grade is a special year!  It begins with the Verdun Adventure Trip, includes leading the Live Stations of the Cross, the Christmas Para Liturgy and ends with a lunch hosted by the Pastor in the rectory, Yearbook Signing and Graduation Dinner.

School-wide we have Catholic Schools Week, and have added new activities such as Race for Education, Student vs. Faculty/Alumni Games and Pi Night!
