The Saint Timothy Student Government Association is a leadership organization for Middle School students. Four officers are elected to represent the members each year. They develop platforms, give speeches, make posters, and encourage the student body to vote. In addition to the elected officers, four middle school students are selected by teachers because of their leadership skills to serve as Executive Board members. The group works to incite school spirit, raise money for philanthropic causes, and serve as ambassadors for the parish and the school. The Student Government Association has raised money for a great deal of worthwhile causes, including: Fisher House, a home for families of soldiers recovering from battle wounds; St. Ann’s Infant Home, a refuge for young women and their newborn infants; and the American Red Cross.
