Join the St. Timothy CYO Track Team!
Starting Wednesday, March 22, 2017 from 3:30 to 4:30.
We will meet every Wednesday (except for Spring Break) until the Meet
on May 6th and 7th.
Practice will be held in the fenced in area where St. Timothy’s track
and baseball field is located.
Responsibilities before coming to practice:
Initial Track Registration : Please bring completed forms to practice. Registration and Medical Forms are required to participate at the first practice. Please make check payable to St. Timothy for $45.00. Include the words “Track Registration Fee” and your child’s name in the memo.
In addition to registering online and printing off those forms from the “Initial Track Registration Link” found above, please complete the following forms and bring to practice: Medical and Participation Form and the Code of Conduct Form.
Change of Dismissal form completed and turned in the morning at school before each practice.
Please dress in layers and in running appropriate attire. Have your running (gym) shoes on. You must have running (gym) shoes
to practice. No spikes. Bring a water bottle filled with water and your name on it.
There is one track meet that will be held the weekend of May 6th and 7th. Depending on your grade, you will compete on either the 6th or the 7th of May. All participants must have a parent/adult present with them at the meet and are responsible for their own transportation. More details to follow on specifics of the meet.
These are the following running events that the CYO meet has to offer:
(all grades participate unless stated in parentheses):
55 Meter (4th Grade Only)
1600 Meter (Grades 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th)
Please note that each team has entry limits per event. The above listed running events have up to 6 athletes max per team.
Relays-Each team can enter one relay team per relay event.
