5th-6th Grade School Supply List

Please bring the following supplies unlabeled to orientation or the first week of school:

    • 2 boxes of tissues
    • 1 book bag or backpack (no rolling backpacks-they do not fit in lockers) Large, zipper organizers, backpacks or tote bags cannot be used in between class periods- all books must be carried.
    • 1 small, zippered pencil case for daily needs (2 sharpened pencils, 1 highlighter, pencil sharpener)
    • 1 large, zippered pencil case for extra supplies (markers, colored pencils, scissors, extra pencils, etc.)
    • 1 set of colored pencils (24 count)
    • 3 packs of #2 pencils (sharpened if possible, no mechanical pencils please)
    • 1 pair of scissors
    • 2 large glue sticks
    • 1 box of markers
    • 5 highlighters
    • 1 eraser
    • 2 packs of loose leaf paper (1 for math, 1 for ELA)
    • 2 packs of dry erase markers (1 for homeroom, 1 for math)
    • 1 package of disinfectant wipes
    • 1 box of sandwich or gallon-sized Ziploc bags
    • 1 personal pencil sharpener with lid to be kept in small zippered pencil case

Supplies for Math:

    • 1 pack of dividers with pockets (at least 4)

Supplies for ELA:

    • 1 1.5″ white 3-ring binder
    • 1 pack of dividers
    • 2 stacks of sticky notes (1 for each novel unit)
    • 1 pack of whiteboard markers
    • *a one-time, $25 charge on FACTS for each student to have a personal copy of their ELA novels (no action needed, charge will be reflected on family FACTS accounts)

Supplies for Social Studies:

    • 1 1.5″ red 3-ring binder
    • 1 pack of dividers with pockets (at least 8)

Supplies for Science:

    • Fifth grade: 1 sturdy purple folder
    • Sixth grade: 1 Cornell notebook (several options available on Amazon), 1 sturdy purple two-pocket folder, 1 package of 3.5 by 5 notecards

Supplies for Religion:

    • 1 sturdy orange folder

Supplies for Spanish:

    • 1 sturdy yellow folder

Supplies for Art:

    • 1 package of baby wipes (girls only)
    • 1 package of Clorox wipes (boys only)

Supplies for Specials: 

    • Fifth Grade only: 1 pack of loose leaf wide ruled paper (labeled “Specials”) 
    • Sixth Grade only: 1 pack of pre-sharpened pencils (labeled “Specials”)
