First Grade School Supplies

First Grade School Supply List

Bring with you on the first day of school the following supplies:

    • 10 glue sticks
    • 24 #2 pencils, sharpened (no mechanical pencils, please)
    • 1 pink eraser (no pencil toppers, please) 
    • 1 Fiskars scissors (blunt) 
    • 1 yellow highlighter
    • 1 plastic folder
    • 1 box washable markers (10 count only) 
    • 4 boxes Crayola crayons (16 count only- regular size) 
    • 1 backpack or bookbag (no rolling or mini bags) 
    • 2 boxes of tissues
    • 2 containers of antibacterial moist towelettes (ex. Clorox wipes)
    • 2 boxes baby wipes
    • 1 bottle (8-12 oz.) hand sanitizer (boys only)
    • 1 package of 100 count 3″x5″ blank index cards  (girls only) 
    • 1 set of headphones (no earbuds)
    • 1 box of gallon-sized zip lock bags (boys with a first name starting with A-L) 
    • 1 box of quart-sizes zip lock bags (boys with a first name starting with M-Z)
    • 1 box of sandwich-sized zip lock bags (girls only) 

Supplies for Art Class:

  • 1 smock or oversized t-shirt for painting projects in a Ziploc bag with child’s first and last name
  • Clorox wipes (boys) labeled “Art”
  • Baby wipes (girls) labeled “Art”

Supplies for Specials:

  • 1 box of tissues labeled “Specials”
